Club House Grills

Club House Grills

Tomatoes
Sliced Turkey from the deli
Cheddar cheese
Barbecue sauce
French bread
Butter

Butter one side of each slice of bread. Lay non-buttered side down on hot griddle.  While bread is toasting, place the turkey on the griddle to lightly brown.  When the bread is lightly browned on one side, flip over and place the cheese on the toasted side.  Add the barbecue sauce, turkey and tomato.  Place other piece of bread, toasted side down, on the loaded sandwich and grill both buttered ends until golden.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I got this recipe from a cookbook about 9 years ago, but have since gotten rid of it.  This is what I can remember from it.  It turns out delicious every time.
Loaf of French bread, cheddar cheese, butter, sliced deli turkey, tomatoes and barbecue sauce.

Slice the loaf of bread.  Butter one side of each piece.

Lay down on griddle.  While bread is toasting on non-buttered side, lightly brown the meat.

Grilled meat.

After one side of bread is toasted, turn over and place cheese on top.

Spread barbecue sauce over cheese.

Put grilled turkey on top of sauce and top with tomatoes.

This is the end result.  A very delicious sandwich that is a cinch to make!  You can do many variations to this sandwich, but this is the one we like. I think adding a little avacado and mayo would be good too.
